Verify PI Server service is runningCritical

Check Windows Services: pinetmgr, pisnapss, piarchss, pibufss should all be Running.

Check archive fill levelCritical

Current archive should be below 80% full. Alert at 70%, create new archive at 80%.

Review interface event ratesCritical

All interfaces should show non-zero event rates. Zero rate indicates stopped interface or no data from source.

Check PI Buffer Subsystem queue

pibufss queue should be near zero. A growing queue indicates the PI Server is not accepting data fast enough.

Verify PI Vision web server is accessible

Open PI Vision URL and confirm the login page loads. Check IIS application pool is running.

Review PI System event log for errors

Check Windows Event Log (Application) for PI-related errors in the last 24 hours.

Check disk space on PI ServerCritical
